Gingers
Next month is Gingers month here at Now We See. It might get bright.
Let me know what you are interested in knowing about the project, or the trait. I will try my best to answer. I have booked my next flight to the US, to Portland, Oregon, in late November. I wanted to be there taking more portraits before or around the election so I will keep knocking on doors.
The Gingers of America story is bigger than any one political party or even a country, but I feel it is important to keep finding and sharing the connections it explores through divisive times.

Fabricated Land
I had just been in Orkney, and moments after landing last Thursday I was whisked away to Stirling to an opening at the University, where my big weave is on show. Look, here I am next to it. The other work is by Brendan Logan, an Orkney artist whose work responds to weaving. I love the conversation between the two pieces. Â
Thank you for your support
As a paid subscriber you are also entitled to a set of new Gingers postcards or of Land of Scots square cards. Let me know which one you would like and where to send it.
The cards arrive from the printers tomorrow, so the pre-order discount for further purchases also ends then. If you fancy more for Christmas, Thanksgiving or for sending spontaneous love to friends, then do order before 1 October to benefit from the discount.
Thank you, and until next week!
